Jack Mila, Village Care Initiatives Kenya, Chairman of the Board
Pastor Jack Mila leads Kenya in serving over 40,000 orphans and hundreds of families. Looking forward to continued expansion in 2012, Jack and his staff are excited to be training more area communities this year.


Nigeria

 
Phillips Elisha Phillips Elisha, Village Care Initiatives Nigeria, Chairman of the Board
Phillips joined Village Care in 2006. Starting with the village of Tungan Magajiya, Phillips has been a driving force in community change throughout northern Nigeria. Phillips, his staff, and volunteers continue to lead the way in serving communities in Northern Nigeria through the various OPOS programs, as well as other youth and adult programs designed to enrich the lives of the Nigerian people..



Uganda  
Mitchell Mukasa Mitchell Mukasa Lutaaya, Village Care Initiatives Uganda, Chairman of the Board
Mitchell leads the way for our Board of Directors in Uganda with a great background in human relations and community organizing. He and his staff are doing a great job in encouraging communities all over Uganda to rise up and meet the challenges of the day. Work has spread across the country into areas previously untouched by programs such as the OPOS series from VCI.


Tanzania  
SIMON NOV 2010 Simon Kutingala, Village Care Initiatives Tanzania, Chairman of the Board
The Board of Directors for VCI Tanzania, Simon leads the way and along with six other board members in providing encouragement and motivation to the people of Tanzania through implementing the VCI Outcomes, Practices and Open Space (OPOS) programs. These include Outcomes for Children, Outcomes for Business (OFB) and now, the Outcomes for Families (OFF) program.


Sierra Leone  
Shed Jah Shed Jah, Village Care InitiativesSierra Leone, Chairman of the Board
Shed Jah has a total of 10 years of active involvement in grassroots development work in rural Sierra Leone. He has considerable project experience in a variety of sectors -agriculture, health, nutrition, water resource development, education and training. Coming from a rural background, he empathizes with the rural poor and is determined to devote his career to the improvement of the quality of life of his fellow Sierra Leoneans.
Burundi

From rural Burundi Pastor Jean had a dream to
see villages transformed. He told us "some places are so remote and the life of people there is very shocking. Please, we need Village Care to come alongside us and work together to promote lives of these dear people in Burundi." After OPOS training in late 2010, Pastor Jean saw his dream come true as VCI Burundi was founded and at his direction, the work was implemented.Today, with the hard work of Jean and his volunteers, villages across Burundi are being transformed and are beginning to thrive.

Sally Lunetta, Managing Director
As Village Care International’s first volunteer, Sally has visited Africa more than 25 times and continues to lead teams in Africa as we grow. She manages all aspects of Village Care’s volunteer base from the initial contact to the team members return.. Sally’s 25 year career in planning and logistics brings a level of expertise that is unmatched in the field.

Tanner Colton and Kolena Allen,
Pacific Northwest Regional Coordinators

Tanner and Kolena are Village Care's key staff volunteers. Together, they wrote our newest tranining program, "Outcomes for Families" that has become part of the VCI training curriculum. Tanner and Kolena have been married six years and are VCI team veterans. Tanner is also a VCI team leader and is our primary team trainer.
