Jack Mila, Village Care Initiatives Kenya, Chairman of the Board
Pastor Jack Mila leads almost 40 orphanages and care homes in the Kisumu area of Western Kenya, serving over 11,000 orphans. Looking forward to expansion in 2010, Jack is excited to be training more area communities this year. He will continue to train new leaders as he adds new people to serve on the Board in an effort to build VCI Kenya into an even more powerful force.

Phillips Elisha, Village Care Initiatives Nigeria, Chairman of the Board
Phillips joined Village Care in 2006. Starting with the village of Tungan Magajiya, Phillips has been a driving force in community change throughout northern Nigeria. As of mid-2007, Phillips has trained over 25 volunteers to teach Village Care’s Outcomes, Practices and Open Space, expanding to over 15 communities. He and his staff continue to lead the way in serving communities in Northern Nigeria.

Mitchell Mukasa Lutaaya, Village Care Initiatives Uganda, Chairman of the Board
Mitchell leads the way for our new Board of Directors in Uganda. With a great background in human relations and community organizing, Mitchell is doing a great job in encouraging communities all over Uganda to rise up and meet the challenges of the day. The Uganda board was formed in early 2009 and has 7 members from across the country.

Simon Kitingala, Village Care Initiatives Tanzania, Chairman of the Board
The Board of Directors for VCI Tanzania is our newest addition to the Village Care International family. Simon leads the way and along with six other board members will provide support and encouragement to the people of Tanzania through implementing the VCI Outcomes, Practices and Open Space (OPOS), the Outcomes for Business (OFB) and Outcomes for Relationships (OFR) programs.

Sally Lunetta, Managing Director
As Village Care International’s first volunteer, Sally has visited Africa numerous times and continues to lead many teams in Africa as we grow. Our primary logistics administrator, Sally manages all aspects of Village Care’s volunteer base as we assist churches and organizations around the US in training for partnerships in Africa. Sally’s 25 year career in planning and logistics brings a level of expertise that is unmatched in the field. From the time the decision is made to go to Africa until your team returns to U.S. soil, Sally is the one who makes it all happen!

Kari Glenwinkel, Special Programs
Kari has been working with Village Care since October 2007. She has travelled throughout East Africa and currently, along with a group of local volunteers, works to make the Lugazi Ladies Necklace Program the smashing success it is!

Tanner Colton and Kolena Allen,
Pacific Northwest Regional Coordinators
Tanner and Kolena are Village Care's newest staff volunteers. Together, they are writing our newest tranining program, "Outcomes for Healthy Relationships" that will become part of the VCI training curriculum. Tanner and Kolena have been married five years and are VCI team veterans. Tanner is also a VCI team leader.
