VCI's JUNE 2011 KENYA TEAM HITS THE GROUND RUNNING

The June Kenya Team is on the ground and working like mad to assist local clinics, schools and homes with caring for the thousands of children in their families. Read all about their trip as it happens on our Village Care Blog!
Most of the team returns July 9, with four team members staying through August 6.

VCI ADDS TOGO, GHANA AND BENIN TO ITS FAMILY!

In late May 2011, Village Care International proudly added the West African countries of Togo, Benin and Ghana to its family of Intiatives. Met by our awesome team from Nigeria, with Director Phillips Elisha leading, communities in each country received the OPOS training and kicked off their projects in style.
Training in Ghana was held in the community of Katapor. Turnout was great and was received well. In the communities of Wahala and Lome, Togo, the OPOS training was a huge success as well. The final set was held in Tchoukou Daho, Benin at the end of May and it, too, was received well and has started the process there with great success.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved in making this happen.

May Kenya Team Returns!
The May 2011 Kenya Team returned to the US with nothing but great things to say about the work being done in Kisumu, Kenya. Excellent project groups, amazing people and hard work are all contributing to the success of VCI Kenya.
