Support an Orphan with $1 a Day
Village Care responds to children in crisis Donate to our Orphan Care Fund!
What does $1 do for an orphan in Africa? Food costs have risen dramatically throughout 2008 and 2009 in East Africa. As a result, many orphanages are have been adversely affected, and food shortages remain a real problem for children.
For $1, you can provide an orphan with healthy, nutritious food for one day.
Village Care is passionate about helping orphans and widows. In addition to our program model based on community empowerment, we strive to help vulnerable members of the community by providing basic necessities that aren't available.
Giving just $30 per month, that is $1 per day, helps VCI care for hundreds of orphans in crisis. Donate $30 now!!
Thank you for supporting children in need! Donate to our Orphan Care Fund!
How are Orphans affected by HIV/AIDS?
The overwhelming number of orphans due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic has placed a strain on traditional methods of caring for all orphans. Village Care supports orphans in crisis through staff member Jack Milla in Kenya. As overseer of more than 20 orphanages in the Kisumu area, Jack uses all of his resources to help children in crisis.
