Village Care Orphan Support
Your contribution will be used for basic medical needs, nutritional supplements, shoes and clothing for orphans in the Village Care program. On average, VCI donations provide each orphan registered in the program with an average of $10 per month. For just a few dollars, you can change a life forever.

Save a Child! Emergency Kits
Malaria kills 3000 children under the age of five every day in Africa. In an effort to battle this deadly disease, our emergency kits come equipped with a family-sized, insecticide treated heavy duty mosquito net, blankets, soap, and critical food needs (or medical assistance, if required). These kits are given to families that need immediate help.

Youth Empowerment Scholarships for Education
Primary education is free in Kenya, however books and uniforms are not. Your contribution of $100 will help a child through one year of primary school, and $500 will put a young person through secondary school. You can donate in increments as low as $10 to help children and young adults attend school regularly.

Skill Centers
As we empower those who are affected by AIDS to learn and earn, we will be launching a series of skill centers in across Nigeria and East Africa. Funds are used for income generating activies. They are given in the form of small loans to develop business.

Buy a Quilt
Child and adult sized quilts are handmade for orphans and widowed parents in Africa by a women’s group called “Sewers and Rippers” in Auburn, California. Donations are used to help orphans and vulnerable children with food, support, and basic necessities, in addition to receiving a free quilt. (It can be surprisingly chilly in Africa)

General Fund
We allocate funds to support programs initiated during community discussions. This means that your donation is funding local ideas and local solutions. 100% of your contributions go directly to helping people in villages and orphanages where Village Care International has partnerships. All VCI administration costs are funded by a seperate corporate donation.
